Ssam-Su Taekkyeon Empty
PostSubject: Ssam-Su Taekkyeon   Ssam-Su Taekkyeon EmptyMon Jan 27, 2014 11:19 pm

Martial Art Name: Ssam-Su Taekkyeon
Other Names: --
Description: Ssamsu-Taekkyeon is a Martial Art which is an improved version of Practice Taekkyeon, enhanced by using characteristics of Renewal Taekwondo. Due to the nature of this style's enhancements, normal practitioners of Taekkyeon may frown upon the use of such a style, as it is impure. That does not make this style any less effective. Because of it's very specific origins, it is both more powerful, and more rare than Renewal Taekwondo.

As with the style of Taekkyeon, the user will focus primarily on specialized takedowns. This is utilized to place the enemy on the ground, and deal damage at the same time. Almost every move in Taekkyeon is meant to down to opponent. The aspects of RE Taekwondo are seen in this style's extended usage of legs, and enhanced kicks, leaving this style's hands free for grappling and guarding.

Specialties:

  • Kicks
  • Takedowns
  • Fire Generation

Sub-Specialties:

  • Predictive Combat
  • Wind Manipulation
  • Knee Attacks

History: A user of Practical Taekkyeon was looking for a way of improving the style, and looked towards the military for methods. Said user discovered a style in development called Renewal Taekwondo, and participating in the creation of it. The founder taught this person directly, and the Practical Taekkyeon user would begin to make the style, calling it Ssamsu-Taekkyeon. However, all he could manage to make was a scroll, which he'd sent to his child he'd left in South Korea. This man was killed in Operation Gilgamesh, 35 years ago.

Before his scroll managed to reach the developer's son, it was discovered that the son had died, leaving a Grandchild who was left to be adopted by a Taekkyeon Dojo. This style was passed on to the users of this style by a mysterious old man, the developer of Renewal Taekwondo himself, despite knowing it was technically copyright infringement, and allowed the style to live.

Can be held back by moving the knee before impact with the ground.

Ssam-Su Bubop - 3
Martial Art: Ssam-Su Taekkyeon

Happens in such rapid succession that regaining balance is futile as the next blow will disrupt it again.

Roundhouse Kick and Scythe - 4
Martial Art: Ssam-Su Taekkyeon

The spin of this tornado is reverse that of the Truth Tornado, making a perfect nullification.

Fish Hook - 5
